Built with partners who back farmers
Donor programmes, universities, mentors and technology partners helped put drones, data and training in the hands of Armenian farmers. Here is what we did together.
- SDA · Helvetas · Sida: Reconomy (Helvetas, funded by Sweden / Sida) backed the rollout of agro-drones and digital farming services for smallholders in the regions.
- SIGMA · DAI: SIGMA, implemented by DAI, supported the first SkyAgro regional teams: a drone, a vehicle and an AgroPilot living in the village.
- ANAU: SkyAgro is a member of the ANAU Industrial Council. Students practise with our AgroPilots, and we run plant-protection and adviser courses together.
- EU-GAIA · AgroTwin: EU-GAIA · AgroTwin: tailored digital advisory for wheat farmers, built on our field data, monitoring and drone services.
- UNDP: UNDP-supported agro-drone trainings became the base of the AgroPilot Academy.
- ICARE · GIZ: EcoServe (GIZ with ICARE): drone-based pasture maintenance in Vayots Dzor, with fewer chemicals and protected ecosystems.
- USAID: Support for our Lori regional team: equipment and training for a village-based drone service.
- Austrian Development Agency: Austrian development cooperation support for climate-smart farming services in the regions.
- UATE: Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises: mentorship and a door into Armenia’s tech ecosystem.
- Impact Hub: Impact Hub: startup mentorship and impact-business training.
- ACBA Federation: ACBA Federation: mentorship and a bridge to the farmer-cooperative network.
- CAAMS: Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences: partner for scaling the regional-team model to Belt and Road countries.
- XAG: Technology partner: XAG agricultural drones are used by SkyAgro teams in the field.
