Welcome to SkyAgro
Agro-drones and a cloud farm management system for small and medium farmers.
We started with drones. In the fields we learned that farmers need more: year-round planning, monitoring, disease prediction and honest advice. So we built all of it around the farmer, at the same cost they paid for tractors, without the damage.
Farmers pay for spraying that hurts their own yield
$16M/yr paid for tractor spraying · $25M/yr damage to yield, soil and infrastructure
- No crop plan: decisions made field by field, season by season
- Almost no digitalization: ~0% of farms keep digital records
- Low-value crops on small, fragmented plots
- Wholesale imports priced below local production cost
Everything a farm needs, from one team
- Planning: Year-round crop and treatment plans for every plot.
- Drone application: Low-volume, variable-rate spraying, only where it is needed.
- Monitoring: Satellite, sensor and multispectral alerts on problem zones.
- Prediction: ML models for disease and pest risk, before damage shows.
- Advice: Organic and innovative inputs, recommended by agronomists.
Protecting crops from pests, diseases and weeds
Spraying drones apply herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and fertilizers cheaper, faster and more precisely than traditional methods. Monitoring drones map fields, assess soil, track plant development and find disease foci and pest colonies early.
- Weeds: Herbicide at early growth stages; spot spraying from weed maps instead of the whole field.
- Pests: Insecticide timed to the pest’s life stage; colonies found early from the air.
- Diseases: Preventive fungicide triggered by weather-based risk models, not by the calendar.
- Apricot · Monilinia: Blossom blight and brown rot spread in a rainy, humid bloom. Treat at pink bud and full bloom, and again before harvest when the risk is high.
- Grape · powdery & downy mildew: Powdery mildew loves warm, dry days in dense canopies; downy mildew starts after ~10 °C, 10 mm of rain and 10 cm shoots. Models tell when to spray.
- Wheat · rust: Yellow and brown rust spread in cool, humid springs. Scout the flag leaf and spray at first detection to save the yield.
- Apple · codling moth: Pheromone traps plus degree-day models time the spray to egg hatch: fewer, better-timed treatments.
Growing field by field
- 13K+ hectares serviced
- 1,000+ farmers served
- 3,000+ plots registered
- 5 regional teams
- 10 + 5 AgroPilots + trainees
People from the regions, for the regions
Today: 10 AgroPilots and 5 trainees. Many come from rural regions or were displaced; we train them and help them settle in villages, where they live and work.
From regional team to hiFarm
Each team digitizes ~1,000 ha and serves the farmers around it. Teams double as assistants become pilots. About $100K launches a team; ~$1M launches ten hiFarms.
Farmers growing together
- Shared machinery, data and advice in every community
- Organic and high-value crops instead of low-value commodities
- Agricultural Intelligence for every farmer, adviser and pilot
- From farm to market: better prices through planning and joint sales
Built with partners who back farmers
Donor programmes, universities, mentors and technology partners helped us put drones and data in the hands of farmers across Armenia.
